About Tijd
Tijd: Word Clock Widget (displayed on your device as Tijd) is developed by Andrei Podkovyrin. Tijd displays the time in written words in Android widgets. It works offline and does not require an account.
Data collection and sharing
Tijd does not collect or transmit personal data to the developer or third parties. It does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or a remote crash-reporting service. The app does not request internet access, location, contacts, camera, or microphone permissions. It does not sell user data.
Information used on your device
Tijd uses your device's time, time zone, and language settings to display the time and choose an initial widget language. It stores each widget's language and appearance settings, saved defaults, and font-measurement caches in the app's private storage. Where supported, it reads wallpaper color information from Android to choose a readable text color. This information is processed on your device and is not uploaded by Tijd. The app may write technical error messages to Android's local diagnostic log; Tijd does not upload these logs.
Permissions and other apps
Alarms & reminders access lets Tijd schedule minute updates. Receiving the system's boot-completed notification lets it restore widget updates after a restart. These capabilities are used for clock operation. You can manage Alarms & reminders access in Android Settings. Tapping a widget asks Android to open your clock app; Tijd does not read or change your alarms. Links in the app open only when you choose them, using another app such as your browser or email app.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Widget settings and caches remain on your device until they are removed by the app or Android, you clear Tijd's app storage, or you uninstall Tijd. Removing a widget removes its saved style; saved defaults and reusable caches can remain. Clear storage in Android Settings or uninstall Tijd to remove all of its private app data. Tijd excludes its app data from Android cloud backup and device transfer. There is no Tijd account or server-side app profile to delete.
